      "Very nice old Quinta"

Very nice place, this beautiful old house has a lot of charm, with a nice little garden and a wonderful view on Porto da Cruz valley. Very nice lady who takes care of the guests, who speaks perfectly french but no english. Nice breakfast. Be prepared to climb a few stairs to get there :) The kitchen can be used by the guests, as well as a salon with TV, books and games (chess...) The only little thing was that it was a bit cold (we were there in march), and the heating was not very efficient. But apart from that, highly recomended!

Very nice location with beautiful sea view. To get there, you have to climb some steps, so not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Magnificent quinta with marvelous furniture. The lady is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and breakfast is nice.

      "Commentaire Quinta"

Perfect / very good service - very nice place. The landlord was very kind. Excellent stay. Strongly recommended.

      "Great view"

This quinta is a very charming place. We enjoyed the stay and the amazing view. Yet, the not functioning central heating was desperately missed in the evening.

The welcome was warm, better than the temperature off the house and the room, wich were very cold ! It was just a good place to walk on Sao laurenço.

      Very Good.

Formidable site.

We had a very pleasant stay on Madeira. The decription for the way from airport to the accomodation we got from your website was fairly poor (we had no navigation system). But the accomodation was great.

Cordialement

"Quinta da Capela, a wonderful stay"

A wonderful manor-house like a museum, the furnishing looks very interest. The beds were not so comfortable, some new mattress would be better for a deeper sleeping. The breakfast was very good with all you want: eggs, cheese, ham, jam, bread, coffee and fruit-juice, served by a very friendly Mistres. The location and the view were phantastic, but befor you can enjoy that all, you have to go many steps upwards. All in all: we have enjoyed this exceptional accommodation.

      "Quinta sa Capella"

Our stay at quinta de Capella was very good in all, except the stairs. That was not realy a difficult exercise for us but thIS point should be more honestly and more clairy explained.

    • Irene Ribeiro

Very pleasant house, charming and helpfull people. The only black point is that as it's a very old house, you can hear your bedroom neighbours quite well.

    • Yvette Kohler

Sorry for my bad english! The Quinta da Capela was: Verry clean. On a nice place. A perfect breakfast. Easy to find. The Lady there was perfect an helpful. I dont like the smell from the old wood in the rooms. But i know, that we can not change.

Spent two nights here as part of a walking holiday. Wow!!. Beautiful position overlooking the the town. Staff were really friendly. Sat in the garden in the evening with a glass of red soaking up the atmosphere. Can`t get much better!! Whats the steps!!
